First gacha that made me feel like I do not want to pay anything for it. With beautiful art and story/world building there are things that prevents you from getting deeper into it.
It's greedy af, Its trying to delude you and give you false expectations from getting a rare character because without time-restricted grinding its nothing more than trash and you absolutely stopped from proceeding the main story. Not to mention it, you need 4 copies each for 5 characters to get by 160lvl wall with help of synchro device, and even with high rates of getting an SSR character, I wish you luck to get three more of the same. Gacha is gacha, no questions but prices in the game store just inadecvate, you often will get small amount of res for its price, even without comparing with another gacha games.
Game also punish you if you d try clear stages with lower rate than enemies, because if you are weaker, you are going to become even more weak because of penalty just cuz. Game is trying to punish you if you are trying to play it, thats so fun. So the game does not respect player's time and prevents it from playing itself because of time restricted grind and penalties, is that not enough?

3rd Anniversary update, yeah. They added story mode, but you can't beat it and upgrade your base. Also they decided not to balance storymode gameplay part and cpnumbers to be interesting but just make them fixed. I see how much they want new players but can't see much efforts for the money this game asking and making.

Kindly disagree. Perfectly playable as f2p, even getting in top10 in leaderboards. Yeah, some times you are hitting a wall in story mode, but just taking time to upgrade your characters solves it. I guess if you want to see all the campaign in one day - sure, you'd want to donate a brickton of money, but taking it leisurely - it's one of the friendliest gacha games I've seen.

That is misleading, story mode was implemented just today, also you did not mention what kind of leaderboards we are speaking of? Rookie arena and towers? Okay but there are groups. Special arena and whale arena? Very doubtful if you are not someone like day 1 player.

bro must be a unlucky dude maybe he spend so much to get nothing cause i who is a free to play has attain many characters also i don't care if i need to have 3 body spare for my characters to get to lvl 160 or 200 plus cause i need five characters to be having spare body then sync all my characters with synchro
