The Witcher Monster Slayer Game Review: Discover a fresh take on the Witcher franchise

In terms of core principles, the game is somewhat similar to Pokemon Go, and it does offer an Augmented Reality mode, which is pretty fascinating. The game is around going about and battling animals, and the AR feature enhances that experience. You can roam about and look for monsters, which is fun, and the game actually uses weather forecasts to make the experience more immersive.
Investigate tasks, keep an eye on enemies, and prepare for conflicts
The gameplay is enjoyable. It isn't the best, and to be honest, it isn't even close to the quality of the other Witcher games available on other platforms. However, the game isn't always horrible. The AR aspect makes it a touch clumsy, and the game generally feels a little janky. There's a tale in there somewhere, or at least an attempt to tell one, but it's mostly forgettable. In addition, Geralt of Rivia, the iconic character from the previous Witcher games, is absent from this game, and you must create your own character.
The wonderful thing about Pokemon Go is that it encourages you to get up, move around, and go outside, which is good for your health. However, keep in mind that there have been occurrences in the past, so always be mindful of your surroundings while playing. There are creatures in your immediate region that you can fight, as well as larger events that take place in specific areas and offer better rewards.

To hunt down evil, choose the greatest weapons and concoct potent poisons
Because of the controls and gameplay, you'll mostly be swiping at foes and throwing in the occasional explosive or special attack, but if you don't like repetitious games, this one won't appeal to you. In addition, the complexity increases as the player progress. Which wouldn't be a problem if the game didn't have such a hard time supplying enough resources. It appears to be heavily promoting in-app purchases in order for gamers to be able to play without having to grind as much.
One of the problems was that the game took a long time to calibrate at times, however, this was generally due to lighting and other circumstances. Using the swords was also a bit clunky and clumsy because the action isn't very smooth and you don't feel like you have very good control as you swipe around. Even parrying monster attacks doesn't seem to assist you all that much.
Graphics and UI are good, although the controls might be a bit clumsy at times
The graphics of the game are good, especially at high settings, and the music isn't bad too. The graphics aren't very impressive at lower settings, and it doesn't feel like a studio as large as CD Projekt Red could have put in such little work. Now, the controls aren't great, and wielding the swords, as previously stated, felt really awkward. The user interface is adequate, but it can be clumsy and buggy at times.

To become an excellent monster hunter, you don't need any IAPs.
The Witcher: Monster Slayer is free of advertisements, which is fantastic and to be anticipated from a studio as large as CDPR. In-App Purchases are available in the game, and it encourages you to buy stuff to make your journey simpler. This clearly puts it on the Pay to Win side, but because it's a single-player game, it's more about getting through it quicker than having an advantage over others.
Final Verdict
This game is a decent title to try out if you're a lover of the Witcher game series or perhaps AR games like Pokemon Go, but it's not the best. The game does a great job of making AR a fun experience. Playing games that incorporate elements of reality adds to the overall immersion of the experience.
The game's major flaws were first and foremost the poor sword controls, which made it feel out of control and janky, and second, how monotonous and grindy the game became without adequately rewarding the players. Overall, the game is enjoyable despite a few flaws and has a lot of room for improvement in certain areas. You get the impression that CDPR, the parent company of Spokko, could have done a lot better with the game.

They closed the servers which was a shame a great game in overall Its not that bad its similar to other games like pokemon go or the walking dead . Its a shame that you cant choose which School of witcher you wanna join but its a small detail . The gameplay seems decent and the monster are cool . Its still early day ofc but i think its got potential if they dont drop the ball . You cant fully customize your character but its ok .

Monster Hunter’s Pokemon Go-like game, finally released globally! | Impressions - Monster Hunter Now
In Monster Hunter Now, players explore their surroundings to locate, track, and engage with various monsters and creatures from the Monster Hunter series. The gameplay involves hunting monsters, gathering resources, upgrading your gear, and engaging in fast-paced sub-minute battles. The battles are quick --- not as lengthy and epic as the mainline games --- but I find the bite-sized nature of it fun and just fits the AR-based nature of the game perfectly.

Monster Hunter Fans Unite🔥
🎮 Gameplay: From the Creators of Pokémon Go, Really fun swipe to dodge and tap to attack/hold for charge attacks. Can play with friends, walk around the city or town and kill monsters Helps me walk far distances. Fun to rank up. The material drop rate sucks unless there’s events but it is still an addicting game. I currently play with a couple friends.
