I remember playing respawnables by digital legends. Years ago. And then they deleted the game as CODM purchased the Digital legends and removed the game. I played codm since it was released but cannot forget respawnables. It was the one of a kind.

Look. I was in the top players or respawnables. And my friends made fan project and developed the same game for each other cause we all knew this is not a random game that has a lot of same copies available to play. But Digital legends never allowed them to publish it

I searched a lot of games but not a single game was following Respawnables logic.

I mean which game gives you watee guns and grenades and suits and launchers in summer? And you cannot use any other gun in that event. Or which game divides all the guns to 0 on April fool and let your first gun boosted. Normally in games you never use your 1st gun again after you have grown as that gun always have low damage and performance. And which game grants you increase in defense or agility or health depending upon the suits you wear 🫶

Those seasonal events — like the water gun summer fights or April Fool’s “first gun only” twist — gave Respawnables a sense of humor and community that’s incredibly rare. Most modern shooters focus on realism, grinding, or competitive balance, but Respawnables just wanted you to have fun. It rewarded creativity and silliness, like using banana suits and bubble launchers to win fights.

And the gear system — man, that was genius. The fact that suits could change your stats (defense, agility, health, reload speed, etc.) meant every match could feel different depending on your setup. It was simple, yet deep. You could build your playstyle around fun rather than just damage numbers.

Now in 2025,word of ai and clones. Still i bet you can not find a clone to Respawnables. Can you?
