An unexpectedly Fun Turn Based Strategy game with Rogue-like and Card Deck based combat.
The gameplay is mainly building your Characters from Partners, Memory Fragments, Potential, etc to enter Chaos which is the Roguelike mode for the game where You can farm for Equipment, Neutral Cards (Cards that did not you get from your Characters), and Epiphany (Upgrade for the Upgradeable cards in your Deck) for your characters.
For combat it gives you a set of cards which are randomized and each card has action from attacking, creating shields, Healing, Skills and Upgrades, Each card used is limited by Action Point so you have to use it strategically. Beside Cards there is also an EP meter which charges itself each turn and when you have enough points you can use characters Ultimate or Partners Skill consuming these points. There is also a Mental Stress meter for each Characters which when it full your characters will suffer Mental Breakdowns   which cause you to lose 1/3 of your HP and render that character to become unusable for a while until you can recovered them via using their cards on the deck.
For the story it is simply bad, one of the reasons why is after the prologue the story simply becomes space opera and not a good one either despite what they are marketed the game story is a Cosmic Psychological Horror Dark Fantasy. Other than that there are also issues of MC despite being supposed to be an Artificial Human and the captain has really small roles and is really useless for example in prologue instead of carrying Renoa himself MC ordered Owen to carry her, this is when they are facing a really strong enemy which is really stupid and then on chapter 4 he tried to Hold down mind controlled Owen despite everyone told him don't because Owen physically outclass him and being their captain he should know this too but still do it anyway then end up get stabbed.
So why didn't they don't deliver what they marketed? Is this another marketing bait? Well apparently what they market is what we almost got.

To summarize it apparently what was shown during the Trailer last year is the near finished product of the game by the Dev and around that time they got a new Director and apparently also the CEO. This new Director not only keeps interfering he also forcing his vision into the game, this leads to office internal office "politics" struggle (for example he bring in group of new writers and favoring them over the main writer) which ends up with the Main Writer the guy behind the world building, the story, the lores, etc. Fed up and leave the project.
After that the Director has full control on this game and tried to realize his vision with the help of those writers that he brings in to overwriting the original story, lores, etc. And the results are so bad those writers decided to abandon the project. This left the Director with around half of the original team left and he has to salvage the game as much as possible because the game release date is closing. In the end they decide to release the game as it is and apologize later. This causes outrage with KR players and they dig more of these uncovering many things about these making it getting bigger.
