I prefer old skool RuneScape but, this new version is just as good for us old school MMO players that do not mind click based gameplay, RuneScape has been around for over 2 decades so it's doing something right, everything feels rewarding and nothing is pay to win, it's pay to unlock more content and if you pay for the monthly subscription, it unlocks content in both RuneScape and ol skool RuneScape, this is a game I played as a kid on and off, you will easily put hours into this game and you wouldn't realize it because it's always a goal that is very rewarding, easily the top 5 MMO of all time, also the game is still being updated til this day in 2025, their is always something to do and rare items to collect, the goal in this game really is to get RuneScape rich lol, grind until you become a billionaire, you also do not have to use real life money to handle your monthly subscriptions but it is expensive if you're not runescape rich
