Here you will be able to learn old mechanics as well as the new additional mechanics into the game. This will allow you hone your skills as well as adapt to new changes to the game. Let's go ahead straight to the basic and advanced mechanics into the game!
Basic Techniques
Fast Drop - Tap Jump + Swipe Down Joystick
Tap to jump into the air then down joystick in the air to drop faster.

Guard - Tap Shield Button
Tap Shield Button to shield yourself!

Grab - Swipe Shield Button + Swipe Left or Right Joystick
Swipe the Shield Button to grab the opponent then left or right joystick to throw the opponent.

Tap Jump to jump into the air, while in the air, tap the shield button to dodge attacks.

Ledge Grab - Hold Left or Right + Jump
Swipe Left or Right joystick and Jump to grab the ledge at the same time.

Swipe Left or Right joystick to roll while knocked down

Advanced Techniques
Shield Counter - Tap Shield Button + Swipe Shield Button + Left or Right Joystick
Tap the Shield Button to block attacks and after shielding, swipe the Shield Button to grab the opponent and left or right joystick to throw to a different direction.

Dodging Ledge Grab - Swipe Left or Right Joystick and Tap Shield Button + Hold Left or Right Joystick and Jump + Up Special
Swipe Left or Right joystick and tap Shield Button to perform Air Dodge Ledge Recovery, swipe left or right joystick and jump again at the same time and swipe up special to grab the ledge.

Tap the Shield Button before hitting the ground after being hit

Tap the Shield Button before hitting the ground after being hit and swipe left or right joystick to get up quick at the same time.

Optimal Gywnnn combo
when Command grab then dodging down in animation allows u to short hop then do another (rather than going for regular jump follow up) This also allows you to perform 3 grabs(combo), 2 nairs(combo),and a up air (doesn't combo)

I couldn't agree more that this is a great game.
This game is simple but not easy. All you need to do is tap. Then your character jumps down as far as it can. I found it hard to predict the direction that I was going. So, there are times that I just jump without thinking and see if this could be a good strategy. If you don’t mind ads popping up every now and then, I highly recommend this game to pass the time.
