American Truck Simulator 2022 is a driving simulator. Or to be more specific, American Truck Simulator 2022 is a truck parking simulator. Sure, in real life, driving a truck is more challenging than driving a car, but in this one, the real challenge is when you try to park your truck.
As for the driving part, it's really nothing special. I find the controls for other driving games and racing games a lot more challenging. Classic Mode is nice. I haven't cleared as many as I would like, but in the end, I had fun. However, I sincerely hope that it would get more challenging as I progress.
As I said, the parking is the real challenge, as the success or failure of each mission depends on parking your truck. So far, I haven't really had much trouble yet, and I found my parking skills here in the game to be a lot better than real life sadly.
My only gripes are the graphics and the ads. Graphics aren't that good, and the ad pop-ups can be annoying at times. However, combined, they only costed the review a star as they do not really hamper the game.
Overall, it's a nice game. The parking challenge isn't really that challenging. But in the end, I found myself having fun.

Not bad for a truck simulation game. The game is currently the game single-player mode and free driving mode. The single player mode needs to reach the appointed location within the time limit, and will fail if it hits someone.
I prefer the free driving mode, I can just drive anywhere I want to go. There will be some NPCs in the game, but they won't interact with you. I wish there were more maps, it would be more interesting. It seems that a multiplayer mode will be introduced in the future.

A very original truck simulator game.
This is one of the most original mobile games I have played in a long time. The gameplay, story, vehicles and mechanics are amazing. The all wheel drive and engine temperature features are so good. Graphics and UI are also amazing.
The developers has done an amazing job here and clearly put a lot of time into making this game.
There are some ads here and there but it's not super annoying either. I'd even play this game on PC if it was available there. My only suggestion is that the steering controls could use a little bit of improvement.

Another relaxing game
To me, most of simulator games are relaxing and enjoyable, I think this one is just like the other truck simulator games which I've played on Steam. It comes to mobile, so I'll definitely give it a try.
