If you think genshin impact is really good game and there's is nothing shady then you are wrong this game was made with greed of money in mind at a certain point in story you must need a specific element based character in order to progress through the main story trust me as a free to play player my admiration for the game was crushed when I spent 60 rate-up pull and 40 standard pull " Just to get 1 Pyro character " and i didn't even got even a single copy of Amber or other Pyro character not to mention once the world level increases levelling up just one character will be more tough than any boss fights.
I recommend to play "where winds meet" or "sword of justice" if you want skill based combat and no gacha at all.

I never felt any difficulty in pursuing story...playn since launch f2p ...I have around 40 5stars nw...just need to plan and have patience....i stoped story around nahida map....I do only event and dailys ...it's not coz boring... no time...even though I get enough primos to pull....recently won flins, coloumbina yea some banner needed to skip...the only thing I felt bad is some chars true strength cms wen u have other supp....but still without it works......just need patience bro....

Since when you need to pull a specific character to progress through the MAIN STORY??? In stories they'd give the relevant trial characters if you don't have them. I've been playing since 1.0, I have less than ten limited 5* characters but I never got any problem going through the game so far. There are ups and downs in Genshin, but don't straight up saying bs And I play Where Winds Meet too, the two games have different charms

yeah and then the world level increases, the monster becomes stronger but to level up your character you have to fight a world boss of level higher than yours just to died many times and waste my time no thanks

Bro acts like xiangling isn't free and plus you probably have bad artifacts. Just admit it you didn't know how to play and choose to not learn through guides and game mechanics before complaining. I see a lot of players who are new play with no problem as f2p and so am I in my first time. What do you mean you need fire? You didn't know ice can be killed with electro too? You didn't know amber is weak but you can get a free xiangling that is fire if you did story quest?
