Playing HSR after playing ZZZ I'm quite disappointed the story feels quite off and a bit too strained as the dialogues are very lengthy and quite bland in my opinion considering the fact it's a Hoyoverse game, although given the amount of depth in its story and lore is quite impressive yet again it's very lengthy. The combat system is quite good for a turn based game as the combat system takes a bit of a strategic approach as if like a DnD RPG, regardless the animations when you engage in combat is quite a show it's also one of my main reasons for playing HSR, the animations felt very smooth.
Overall HSR's exploration is not open world as I wasn't expecting that anyways but the world building in this game is also very limited again not an issue for me but I guess if you're interested in a strategic story game it's a worth a try.
