I don't understand why hoyo can write a horrible character like Wanderer, Scaramouche, or whatever he calls himself now (I call him genshin's downfall). Ever since his 4.8 stupid event, genshin never got a chance to be top in app stores, play stores etc.
He's like a poorly executed, bargain-bin version of Otto Apocalypse from Honkai Impact 3rd, but without the narrative consistency or tragic grandeur that made Otto compelling. His entire presence, from his convoluted backstory to his grating personality, feels like a stain on the game's narrative and roster. He stands as a prime example of failed character writing: a villain whose "redemption" is both unearned and unsatisfying, forced upon players who have every reason to despise him.
Worst, you play with any stupid idiot who pulled for him in co-op, you can hear all those stupid voice lines.
