I've been playing Rolling Sky since I was little: from the first 6 levels until the Monster City Update. We all know that Rolling Sky was removed from Google App store due to copyright. And naturally: I was excited to play my childhood game.
But when I first downloaded the game, it kept crashing. I re-downladed it with the same results. Crash after crash. The minute I opened the game, it crashed. The minute I tap on a level, crash.
After many attempts, I finally got to play some 1 star levels. But during the gameplay: the game was extremely glitchy. It doesn't affect my gameplay but the gameplay would freeze, then slow down before returning to normal. And I'm scared to play the 3-6 star levels because of the glitches. Ironically, the music is the only thing that is not affected.
The developers of the game seriously need to do something with these glitches. They're everywhere.
Luckily, I don't suffer from any ads. I don't get them.
Update as of 27th January 2026: Okay, after a couple more tries I have come to a conclusion that I have been scammed. These dirty developers are trying to bait nostalgic blind fans into playing their knock-off version of Rolling Sky. All the levels that you see on interet are not real. They are all fanmade levels. Nice try developers. Unfortunately, Rolling Sky is dead and it will stay dead! It's not coming back anytime soon.
If you see people playing Rolling Sky, it is certain that they're playing the fanmade levels, only accessible by the community, and not the official one. Maybe, they're just taking pictures of levels. Don't waste your time trying to recover nostalgia and trying to download the official version.

the game is pretty poorly optimized and unfortunately there's not much you can do to fix this at the moment. also the "knock-off version" of the game you're talking about is probably RollerCraft, which is an official sequel to RS with a level editor and several new features (you've probably seen an advertisement for it upon opening the game). unfortunately it didn't manage to become too successful

Author likedThen why name the game as "RollerSky" just to bait and scam everyone? Good thing I read the reviews first.
