This is my sixth post in the "BFB - Budget Friendly Beasts" series. I’m highlighting cards that deliver P2W-tier performance for a fraction of the cost.
In this post, we’re looking at Wout Weghorst from European Clubs Selection 13 Nov '25. Standing at a massive 197cm, he is the ultimate "Target Man" solution for F2P players who rely on crossing to dismantle P2W defenses.
THE GOOD:
- Aerial Supremacy: With a 197cm frame and a 96 Jump stat, he dominates the airspace in the opponent's box.
- Elite Precision: His 94 Heading ensures that his headers reach the corners that the goalkeeper wouldn't be able to reach.
- Unstoppable Force: A 97 Physical Contact rating allows him to shrug off many Epic, BigTime and Showtime defenders while making his leap.
THE BAD:
- Mobility Issues: His Speed and Acceleration are really poor, making him a liability in quick counter-attacks.
- Technical Deficit: Poor passing and ball-playing stats, combined with his height, make him feel extremely clunky on the ball.
- One-Dimensional: He is a specialist for crossers; if you aren't crossing, he offers almost nothing to the build-up play.
THE BUILD:
- BUILD 01 (CF): Maximum Aerial.
- BUILD 02 (CF): Balanced stats with 90 Jump
SKILLS RECOMMENDED:
Please keep in mind that these are my personal recommendations based on my playstyle – my opinions aren't universally accepted truths, so feel free to add the skills that best suit how you play the game.
- Acrobatic Finishing
- Long-Range Shooting
- Long-Range Curler
- Outside Curler
- Through Passing
RECOMMENDATION:
If you need a pure aerial presence who can convert nearly every cross but are willing to sacrifice speed and fluid dribbling, then Weghorst is your guy.
