Warriors of Waterdeep

I can recall when I had a Black Shark generation 1 handset and the only game I really wanted to play was D&D Warriors of Waterdeep. When I finally got my chance to play it I binged the hell out of it.
For a Dungeons and Dragons game this is pretty good. All the bare bones are there for a very easy to play action squad based brawler.
There's the usual stuff like skill upgrades weapon upgrades and even just upgrading bits of your kit. It's the kind of RPG gimmicky stuff you'd expect only this isn't really a RPG.
The campaign is generic as hell. Sure some bosses change but the order to beat them in a lot of the levels do become wash rinse repeat. Across the stages the route taken to get to the level boss fight is annoying. Like even if there's a side quest it's just the long way round to get to the overall objective, and it plays out just the same.
Like I said I played this quite a lot on my old handset and since coming over to the Asus ROG 3 I haven't touched it again until recently. So yeah it's still a good game but right now in 2021 there are other vertical games that are squad-based and offer pretty much the same thing. For example check out my review on Warhammer 40,000 Tacticus, that's a hex based strategy with Heroes instead of moving armies or large units across a 4x tile, but it amounts to the same sort of gaming mechanics that you would find in Waterdeep.
I'm not saying Warriors of Waterdeep isn't a good game when it is. What I'm saying it's just a little dated now. But it's definitely worth your time if you feel like giving it a revisit or try it out for fan service if you like Dungeons and Dragons themed games.
I'm only giving it 3 stars because it needs more dragons.

It's good. It's a dinky vertical RPG. Art style reminds me a little of Darkest Dungeon. Attacks are card based, the draw is random, mana restricts how many Attack based cards you can select on a turn. Build up your squad, enhance units, create a unique squad of adventurers each bringing a set of skills that makes the squad all the more deadlier. In action this is easy to sort and it's fun to tinker with your line up.

Brawlhalla
Well I just played brawlhalla now I don't know which came first this or flash party but I'm guessing it was brawlhalla there is one minor thing that needs looking at is the size of the characters and level because they are a little bit on the small size when everyone is going full out war it's just crazy obviously people who play on phone are seeing it on a tiny scale compared to the people on tablet just like call of duty mobile people on tablet are at a much more advantage than those on mobile phones but nevertheless it's still abit of fun especially seeing they have street fighter characters and TMNT ones aswell brings back childhood memories I absolutely loved the turtles so if you played and enjoy flash party then this is definitely another game for those thumbs of yours 😜 enjoy

TapTap Game of the Year 2023 #5: Sea of Stars - an old-school RPG with a modern twist
Sea of Stars is a game that wears its influences on its sleeve. The battle system blends the timed hit system of Super Mario RPG with the team tech attacks from Chrono Trigger. Some boss sprites and attacks look like they came straight out of Final Fantasy. The entire game is littered with references to Super Nintendo classics, like Secret of Evermore and Breath of Fire. But even though Sea of Stars pays homage to RPGs of the past, it still manages to feel fresh and new.
