Games worth discovering
I would like to share an incident that took place on the Heartopia.
The animation depicted a Black character acting like a monkey after consuming a poisonous mushroom. Many people, myself included, found this unacceptable due to its clear negative historical connotations, which could be perceived as racist.
When I pointed this out, I was muted for six days, and my message was deleted. Many other users were also outraged, but the moderators ignored our comments and responded with mutes and bans instead of discussing the issue.
I want to emphasize that criticism should not be suppressed and that such content and responses should be taken seriously. I believe this topic is being discussed in other media as well, which is why I am sharing it here. This way, people who are not familiar with the situation can see it and discuss it consciously.
Another thing that concerned me is that the community around this game does not seem very safe or welcoming. From what I saw on the server, some users were making racist jokes and even doing blackface with their avatars/characters.
Because of that, I personally don’t think this environment is appropriate for younger players. Situations like this make the community feel toxic and unmoderated. I’ve included screenshots showing some of what was happening

Pink hearts are paid currency, and blue hearts are free currency.
60 pink hearts = ~1 or 1pull = ~1
600 pink hearts = ~$10 or 10 puls = ~$10
Each gacha pool contains rare items. It is possible to obtain a NEW rare item or a DUPLICATE of a rare item. The price of each pull increases.
Each complete set of clothes can cost over $200!!!

dude first of all being racist is not illegal so if the devs think its ok in their game there is nothing u can do about it, second of all nobody cares about genAI anymore its literally a tool but these days people literally lose their shi if they read AI, third of all complaining about gacha is the dumbest thing ever because 10$ for 10 pulls is pretty much one of the lowest prices i have seen

Just because something isn’t illegal doesn’t mean it’s okay or shouldn’t be criticized. Games and communities still have responsibility for what they allow, especially when there are younger players involved. About genAI — people aren’t “losing it,” they’re raising valid concerns (like ethics, asset quality, and transparency). It being a tool doesn’t automatically make every use of it acceptable. And regarding gacha — low price per pull doesn’t change the fact that the system is designed around randomness and duplicates, which can easily push people to spend way more than intended. Especially for kids, that’s a real concern. I’m not forcing anyone to agree with me, I’m just pointing out issues that I think are worth discussing instead of ignoring.
