Mental:Holdout is a game where you had to survive for 10 nights like Decaying Winter.
The Gameplay (Scavenge Phase):
• During your first time or you played the T:H before M:H, You will scavenge items and find ammos. Just like Decaying Winter. There's some enemies that are furries because they are the infected. Be careful that your hitbox might accidentally touch a goo to damage your health by 30. Sometimes you gonna need a melee weapon for 4-5 nights.
The Gameplay (Holdout phase):
• When the timer hits 0 ingame, the game says "The storm is approaching" meaning that you have to go back to spawn/base. And after the storm is at your gates, the gate gets their laser disabled due to the storm. Then your enemies will appear. At night 1-2, Only 2 enemies spawn at 2 gates. Meaning that 1 at north, 1 at east. There's 2 waves at the holdout phase so don't lower your guard. During night 3-4, 2 enemies will spawn at the gates instead of one enemy because when you progress through nights, the game gets harder. And during night 6 (Skipping sev because I don't want to make a cringe joke), 3 enemies will spawn at 2 gates, yes 3 enemies at north and 3 enemies at west. I'm sure that night 7 or 8 will be 4 enemies or 5.
Perks:
• Some perks are useful or useless. They cost 2 perk points to unlock but the perk (That has the recycle green symbol) is 1 point to unlock so... Use that if you need alot of scraps to trash the items for scrap.
Skins:
• You can have skins to your guns if you have 500 kills for the normal colored guns and 15,000 kills for the camo skins but the big iron (The pistol that looks like a deagle) needs 1 prestige.
The Mid game:
• Night 6 and... Sev will be your total end because of Scav War. If you hear the trumpet accorded to these nights, you will encounter furries with guns or even A FURRY WITH A AXE AND A SHIELD (Unfortunately idk if they will make scavengers into humans). So I recommended using guns during the scavenge and the holdout at scav war. The enemy with an axe and a shield are the hardest scav enemy to deal with, because they delay their attack and they can shove you. So shove them when they're delayed and shoot them if they're stunned. I recommended having perks to dealt against the Scav War.
The End Game:
• If you survived the Scav War, then congrats. You will able to reach night 10. When you survive the night 9, then you reached the last night, the game will notify you that all waves are completed and the final boss is approaching. Then the game will continue to Scavenge phase. What to do during Night 10 is to have enough ammo for your guns to defeat the boss and make sure you have a strategy to beat it since its hard. And also have armor scrap, combat syrum, failed antidote for the boss wave because they're recommended.
Night 10 (Boss wave | Holdout phase):
During the holdout phase, the game will notify that Black Valk comes for your soul (Black Valk is the boss). He is the Big guy with a big sword and can make void puddles while going towards the players, that's because he is from the darkness.
He has 12k hp so I recommended using a strategy to kill him with your guns. The problem: Him and his minions are too fast. So that's gonna be instant game over if you didn't have a strategy. He can dash attack and his m1s might be a spin attack so he's technically AOE and Single. You have to kill him under 3 minutes or the whole building is destroyed due to black valk. If you managed to kill him and the minions, then congrats beating the wave and you can receive your exp alot or alot of perk points and have a unlocked perk slot.
Locations:
• The game has locations; Base, Library, Pool, The armory room, the Scav base, the back gate. Pool, The armory, scav base and the back gate has one bag, if you collect all 4 bags, you might unlock something after night 10. The scav base is your best bet to have a bunch of ammo, turn on the turrets and fortunately, Turn on the CD for extra minutes. The scav base includes; A bunch of ammo, a bunch of gun crates and alot (Red Keycard included) but there's scav enemies in it. And you need to use the failed anti dote for going in there. So you need a gun and a failed anti for exploring that base but you need a keycard to access the scav base and the back gate. Mind killing all gunners before the axe enemy.
True End Game (Night 11):
• If you collect all 4 bags and survived 10 nights, you are able to reach the escape route. Where you put the drill from the bag with the parts to make a drill and you have to survive till the wall to the exit opens. There will be enemies during the Escape. So have a gun and try your best to survive. When you escape after that hell, you will earn freedom badge.
The Ending:
• Like what my previous post on Roblox mentions... About the outside and the forest... You will be the person who escaped the facility. And black valk will gave you a choice after his conversation.
The Outro:
• When you get to the credits. You have to wait a long time to reach red "The End".
Imtie is the owner of T:H (Transfur:Holdout) but it was not in public anymore at 2025 due to Roblox needed games to put their age for the players to play. I've missed the old times that games has All ages. Flowtis is the main developer of M:H (Mental:Holdout) and remade T:H into M:H. Meaning that T:H is back but with changes and early.
I've heard in the credits that Flowtis is doing something for Book 1 (C1: Holdout, C2: Hardcore, C3: ??? and etc) so... Everyone had to wait updates till they released the things that needed to re-exist.
