I'm Chief, a producer of Dead 4 Returns.At the beginning of this brand-new year, I am very pleased to announce some great news: An alpha version of D4R will be released to players in some areas on 18 January. You will be interested in it if you are fans of zombie-themed shooter games. The current version of the game is a technical preview version, and requires high-end machines. We are very sorry if there will be any scaling issues or a bad game experience. Please feel free to contact us about any issues, so we can fix them and provide a better new version.

When we first started to design the game, Dead 4 Returns is a multiplayer co-op shooter based on the UE4 engine, incorporating highly restored firearms, worldview storyline, strategic tactical planning, fast shooting experience, online co-op mode and more, all while maintaining high graphics quality.We aimed at a game with bigger maps, more fun, and more freedom.

This version allows players to choose from 4 main heroes to play and each hero possesses their own exclusive skills, which means more possibilities of playing as a team. Weapons are also expanded. With different types of throwing weapons and guns, players can deal more complicated situations in battle. Several new maps are added into the game, such as a mysteriously abandoned hospital and a metro station controlled by D.M.A. And a few new modes are added into the gameplay. There are more contents waiting for you to explore. We hope those contents can bring you a different game experience.

We sincerely invite all qualified players to play the game and send us as many valuable suggestions and feedback as possible. And we welcome fans of the game to join us in creating the game, exploring, sharing ideas, and improving the game for a better game experience. As is commonly known, where there are challenges, there are also opportunities. We believe we can solve problems easily through close teamwork.
