Dear All Developers,

The year 2020 and 2021 were unprecedented time for the global games market, shattering revenues, users, and growth records.

More and more developers have the desire to take their games worldwide. However, the globalization process of the games is full of risks and opportunities.

In order to assist developers in dealing with problems such as the release and monetization of the games, TDS team set about building the TapTap.io Developer Center. We are trying our best to provide an efficient passway for releasing games. In the future, more technical service components will be provided one after another to help developers explore the global games market.

Currently, the TapTap.io Development Center has been launched, and all developers can register the TapTap.io developer accounts and release the games.

A few things to keep in mind at the same time:

1. The TapTap.io developer accounts based on the TapTap.io user accounts. Those who don't have the TapTap.io user accounts need to register one additionally.

2. Due to the uniqueness of the APK package name, we strongly recommended that games released on TapTap.io use different names from those in China.

On the one hand, the conflict caused by the same package name can be avoided, and on the other hand, the impact of policy changes in some countries/regions on the global release of the game can be reduced to a certain extent.

3. When the game is released on TapTap.io, please pay attention to the consistency of the language in the materials (pics, icons etc.), the game info, and the game APK package.

We recommended to use English as the main localization language, which can greatly reduce the cost when the game is released in various countries/regions.

4. The in-game monetization is acceptable when released on TapTap.io, but please pay extra attention to the policy requirements of various regions.
