Games worth discovering

So... I've been playing Torchlight since the first one, and have great memories with the series. I have been hoping and waiting for a Torchlight mobile, also hoping it is a quality game for gamers (not a cash grab). The beta looks promising. Graphics and what-not are obviously still in development. Decent storyline. This trading system, however, is absolute madness. I mean, can I just buy a gun already!? It worries me that this may turn into a p2w system very quickly. I, for one (and I don't think I'm alone here), would much rather pay for a premium game (at even a fairly high price) than to be nickel and dimed to death (which would actually lead to game abandonment for me). Just a suggestion... Don't shut out true gamers. If you make a solid game and we buy it, you can continue the series (Infinitely!). But if you make a shameless cash grab, you will alienate your following, lose and disappoint all of your loyal fans and your "legacy" will die here. This game will make money. It's up to you if it is done the right way.

100% agree. it also kinda concerns me that they called you "hunter" in their automated response- . it seems eerily similiar to how other gacha games treat their players and I'm worried that will bleed over into other aspects of the game as well :/ just verbatim copying the template that all the other gacha games use I'm with you though. i love the torchlight games. this one is no exception and i'd easily pay 20 or even 40 bucks if it was a premium, polished, standalone experience. I absolutely hate the "free to play" model. i'm so sick of it honestly. if this game has even a whiff of that I'm out.
