Tears of Themis has you take on the role of a rookie attorney in Themis Law Firm, where you’ll take on numerous cases. At the same time, you’ll also be following the paths to nurture deeper affinities with 4 baes.
Story (★★★★☆)
✔️ The main character is well designed (unlike the usual meek, ditzy female characters in other otome games)
✔️ Engaging detective-themed visual novel
✔️ Touches on serious topics (such as mental illness)
✔️ Dialogues are fully-voiced
❌ Some minor errors in the translations
Gameplay (★★★☆☆)
✔️ A mashup of game elements (Card-collecting, crime investigation, court trial and otome game mechanics)
✔️ Close reminder to Phoenix Wright
✔️ Gacha system with a pity system
✔️ Unique turn-based battle system in the form of a debate where you throw out your arguments
✔️ Cases and debates gradually become challenging
❌ Energy system is rather restrictive on gaming experience
❌ Unbalance resources to get through the events
❌ Terrible gacha rates
❌ Cards need to be constantly upgraded for the later part of the game
Graphics (★★★★★)
✔️ Amazing anime art style
✔️ Character designs are simple and down to earth
✔️ Animated CG are stunning
✔️ Clean UI interface which is easy on the eyes
Audio (★★★★☆)
✔️ Atmospheric soundscape
✔️ Each character has their own song
✔️ Superb voiceover is available in 4 languages
❌ Differences in names used for the voiceover and the written dialogues
Verdict (★★★★★★★★☆☆)
As a fan of the mystery genre, it has been a pleasure to play Tears of Themis as it offers a very gratifying experience. I know that this is definitely a game I’ll keep joyfully coming back to, at least until I have my fill of its wonderful aesthetics (if that’s even possible 😜).
Considering this is something from a hackneyed genre, Tears of Themis outdone itself and has enough to differentiate itself. Speaking from experience, I'd say that this amazing game proves to be an excellent choice for anyone to invest hours in. After all, it simply draws you into the game.

Tears of Themis is a fun otome game with a unique detective theme! I really enjoyed solving the cases alongside the guys, and the artwork is super pretty.  The gacha system can be a bit stingy with SSRs, and the story can be slow at times, but overall it's a good game to chill out and play if you're into romance novels and detective stuff.

i am playing this game right now and I'm having a break from it, so, this is my review, my first impression is quite nice, the graphics are great but am i the only one is familiar with the system? its like almost the same with tears of themis but it's fine with me, the storyline is nice at the start, i just don't know about the future chapters, but i got overwhelmed by the system so it was making my head hurts, overall, it's good right now!. I easily get bored whenever i play games that are out of my league, but this game is just fine.

Can't wait for a global version
One of the most interesting games I have played, this game seems like what I wished that Tears of Themis would be, the investigation does make difference and you can make mistakes that lead to different endings for you investigated cases and you do have to pay attention to hidden clues to not only get secret interaction with the male leads but also to find important clues, some people may not like it since it's a quite hard gameplay for people that are used to have the answers pointed at them, but I just love it. The cards don't seem so hard to get in gacha and there's not so many of them, don't know if its because the game released in China less than a month ago or not. The attributes of the cards and their leveling up makes more difference than if it's and SSR and SR of course those card have higher scores but if they don't fit the attribute they may be high but not enough to pass. The dating part is nice but it does not seem to be the main point of the game, but it's there nonetheless and it doesn't have connections with your cards but with your increase of affections and main story secret discoveries as well as their own separate story.
