If you like playing games that require you to grind, craft and attain skills to grow your character, then you WILL love playing Albion Online!
Albion is a very interesting game that I found while browsing through similar titles. The game takes place on an island that is full of mysterious wonders and enemies! The game itself gives off very similar vibes to Elder scrolls or dark souls in a mobile package.
The combat system allows you to level up your skill tree and the game itself gives you the ability to do whatever you want in terms of class and that said classes weapon choice! I really like to play as mages in these sorts of games and they even have that as an option! The weapon classes are very intuitive and have tons of room for growth / grinding which is why I said it gives off Dark Souls vibes. You have a joystick style interface for playing the game with and everything you need is available at the touch of a finger! You have access to an inventory menu that allows you customization options, loadout you can assign to your character and even character customization not dissimilar to other mmos! The game gives you a lot to do in the form of quests that must be performed and progress however there isn't any linear form factor so you can go about the quests how you want to which i think is a plus! The game has tons of locations that you can go to which really makes the island of Albion feel massive and expansive! I'm currently playing in the middle of a few quests on one of the many areas of the map that are available which is a testament to the amount of things there are to do in the game! I find it best to constantly grind and stick to upgrading my character when playing MMOS such as this and this game is pretty friendly in that regard
I find the online experience to be fine as everyone talks respectfully in the chat that is available in the game and everyone helps each other when fighting an enemy although it's probably because they want the loot that the enemy drops as well lol. With tons of folks all over the world playing at any given time, expect to meet tons from all walks of life!
I will say that sometimes when too many players are near each other it does tend to experience some lag which I'd say should be a point to keep in mind however it's not very apparent to where it affects your overall experience.
Overall I'd say this game exceeded my expectations as it's very stable albeit given its current development it could use a bit more stability since it is an online only game, and it is fun to grind and craft new items that are available to make your character the strongest there is in Albion! I recommend this game to others who like the grind of MMOS. It seems like a lot of effort went into creating the game with a full length intro, a lot of cool voice acting from characters and as stated before tons of quests to do in the game offering new rewards and challenges! Great game and I'd love to see where it goes in the coming months!
