Saiko No Sutoka Review—This Petrifying Game Makes You Think Twice About Romantic Love

Theoretically, everyone simply adores the notion of terrifying ourselves with a horror movie (or two). However, if truth be told, I'd probably end up being the one requesting to have the lights stay on through the nights. Even as an adult, there'd be times when I'd swear that I've seen some faces in dark corners or even hear strange noises resonating from empty rooms.
In spite of this, there's no way we'd allow anything to keep us out of the horror craze entirely.
With that, I'm ditching the usual 'sweet' ratings for something more thematic: 'spooky,' or rather, the yandere archetype. And, let's be honest, it doesn't get spookier than escaping the clutches of a bloodstained brood with some homicidal tendencies.

However, I soon find myself in a predicament. Unbeknownst to me, Habupain hurls you into a dimly lit room with a key and an encrypted safe before sending you on a mission to find codes.
Soon, it dawned on me that Saiko No Sutoka (SNS) is reminiscent of Granny 3. Armed with her weapon, Saiko—the absolute embodiment of madness—patrols the entire school, making things more challenging for you.
Of course, that's not all.
What makes things even more difficult is the lack of a save feature, so you have to ensure that you're able to search for a hiding spot or even escape the school in one go without any mishaps. Hence, I found it bloody infuriating whenever Saiko got her hands on me (or rather mutilated me). That's because I would, once again, find myself back in square one again.
Although SNS may be pretty confusing, it is a game replete with a massively creepy ambiance. While the graphics may not earn it any awards, its sound effects are able to add to the atmosphere and make up for the simplistic designs. As they say, no horror game is complete without petrifying sound effects.🎃🎶

That being said, being spotted by the deranged Saiko does indeed do a number on me as it sparks a dramatic flair in the music. At times, you'll spot her pair of red eyes in the shadows and even make an utterance that only adds more terror. Upon hearing that high-pitched giggle resonating from somewhere, it is more than sufficient to make my or even the bravest gamer's heart tremble with fear.
However, I must warn you that there won't be any fragrant roses or sweet chocolates awaiting you on this romantic escapade. On top of that, I don't think I can look at any admirers the same way ever again! 😣
So, if you're a glutton for the demented and gore, I can't think of a better title than this. So, gather your wits and embark on a blood-curdling escapade here with me!

Don't Let Death Catch You!
• Saiko No Sutoka ⎮  @always monika ● Saiko No Sutoka is a horror escape game where you're chased by a Yandere with high intelligence. ● She would try to play with you and not to finish you so soon, which made the process more scary.. Saiko No Sutoka asks you to escape from a locked school where you are imprisoned by a Yandere. The game’s atmosphere is so great, in a dark school, a Yandere girl would begin to chase you after her counting to 10. I've always liked Yandere after watching Future Diary. Gasai Yuno, she is my waifu you know. Nice boat in School Days is also my childhood. (Maybe I'm not mentally normal.)
