Medieval Merge blends RPG with puzzle games, as players merge certain item to create the right tools for the right job, such as axes for clearing trees and vines, to hammers to fix wagons that block the road.
The RPG portion is fairly standard, but I really found the merging mechanics for making tools, weapons, and other items to be quite fun. Players go around the town to fix some problems and battle monsters, and a lot of those problems need some puzzle solving, as well as merging items to create tools. Players are still hampered by energy, but at this point, it is what it is. Energy consumption really ain't as bad here as some of the other RPGs I have played recently.
Overall, I found this to be a really good game, with the unique merging mechanics. It's almost addictive really. So if you want a unique game, give this one a try.
