Although the game may possess stunning graphics, it still can’t seem to scratch the itch that I’d love it to. Sure, I may not be a fan of the Atelier series, but the challenge of collecting characters and completing quests may offer a sense of accomplishment but doesn’t seem to go far.
Still, if you’re in it for the love of the Atelier series and RPG games, there’re still tons to be admired here. Otherwise,

That said, if you’re expecting a full-scale Atelier game, Resleriana might be a disappointment. Officially speaking, this is a mainline entry in the Atelier series, but it feels like a spin-off. A fresh new take on a peaceful crafting RPG - Atelier Marie Remake Quick Review
PLAY IT OR SKIP IT?
Play it if you love crafting or want to get into the Atelier series. Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg is a new and improved version of the very first Atelier game. It feels a little light on features when compared to the latest games in the franchise, but it has a streamlined approach to alchemy that makes it a great jumping on point. I’m a longtime Atelier fan, and it felt awesome to go back to the series’ roots and see where it all began.
