• Civilization VI ⎮ @Ninjarax
This game allows me to choose a famous historical leader from one of the world's great nations. I could build a capital city in 4000 BC and then try to guide my people to modern society and beyond. Each turn I get to decide what to build, choose research to make progress, and more.
Since I played on a random map each time, effectively arranging my city areas and buildings was a very challenging puzzle. There were a lot of trade-offs for me to consider, but the biggest question was whether I would be better off building an area or a wonder.
Every decision in this game can trigger a butterfly effect.
Pros
+ Outstanding strategy gameplay
+ Colorful, cartography-inspired art style
+ Varied, stirring music
+ So many chances to build out my nation in different ways
Cons
- Constant crashing
Because of frequent crashes, it's impossible for me to totally enjoy the game.
- The UI is too tiny and messy
You're left to squint at the edges of the screen to figure out where. And I'd think I might need new glasses.
- Tutorials are not very useful
The tutorial is just a complete waste of time. This game is very complex, and the tutorial amounts to teaching someone how to stand up and then expecting them to run a triathlon. I had to go to some communities to find more detailed guides myself.
- Lack of clarity
What are amenities and how do I use them? What's loyalty and how do I measure it? What's happiness and how do I gauge it? Sometimes finding information makes me feel miserable.
- The Civs are not well-balanced
Some Civs are very strong since the Ancient Era while some are like playing without any bonuses until Renaissance.
There are many ways to win the game. I can achieve religious victory by spreading my faith around the world like a virus. I can also outdo other cultures with great works of art and turn my civilization into the #1 ranked tourist destination. I hope you enjoy this game.
I suggest you experience part of the game for free first. There are also lots of good video play-throughs on YouTube and Twitch, of course. Watch before you buy, and you'll know what to expect. I think most people will find at least a few sides that they enjoy completely.

• Predynastic Egypt Lite ⎮ @Moyaa**
I always find Ancient Egypt fascinating.
One day, I stumbled upon this game.
*immediately hit the download button*
*played it for an hour straight before I realized it*
TapTap
I actually googled the game and found out that it was developed in consultation with Egyptologists, with an “accurate reconstruction of the geographic map of ancient Egypt 5000-3000 BC.”  That sounds pretty cool, right!!
The goal of Predynastic Egypt is straightforward - to create the Egyptian state in 220 turns, and there are five winning conditions for you to complete. Therefore, it’s essential to balance the number of your workers, food, production, army, culture and authority. The imbalance will have a negative impact on your progress.
There are randomized events like flood, drought, or plague, which often need you to tackle within limited turns. Always be prepared!

The game has a really nice UI; a clear layout for the status of your tribe and the missions (“trials”). It’s easy to tell what’s going on and what to plan for the next turn.
I also love the game’s stunning and elegant visuals, as well as its natural sound. It feels like Ancient Egypt is right in front of me <3

• Pocket Ants: Colony Simulator ⎮ @Aldrichsouls
If you think this is just an ant simulator, you're wrong.
Think about the ant ecology. Yes, we know they are weak insects, but they have a hierarchy consisting of the worker ant, soldier ant and queen ant. A colony of worker ants can move huge foods, while soldier ants guard the nest.
As you build your nest, you will also take over other ants' nests, steal resources, and battle wild creatures. Yes, this is a simulation game and also a real-time strategy game.
TapTap
Game mechanics and gameplay were fun, as a simulation game it was well-paced. In the early phase I used queen ants to breed worker ants to transport resources. But when I got bored after spending half an hour moving leaves, seeds, and mushrooms, I had the option of hatching soldier ants against wild creatures and enemy ants. You'll have the sense that you're not just making things, you're occupying, looting, and battling.

TapTap
But if you wanna create a giant ant army you need massive resources, the drawback is that you have to keep playing the game while collecting them, it doesn't support offline growth. I can't imagine hours a day watching ants move around, IT'S JUST SO BORING!
Pros
+ No complicated game mechanics, anyone can play
+ You can control your ant army during battle, you can win more with fewer troops
Cons
- Unless you pay, each resource's inventory is too low
- Can't get resources offline, I'm always struggling with insufficient resources
- Ant nest expansion will soon reach its limit. It's a shame, I really look forward to expanding the nest with more chambers and ants.

• Rise of Kingdoms ⎮ @Alex
Rise of Kingdoms: Lost Crusade was developed by developer Lilith Games. Lilith Games has been well-received by users as a conscientious developer by utilizing appropriate strategies. If you're unfamiliar with their work with Rise of Civilizations, here are a few notable titles that might be memorable. We are publishing games in various game genres, from casual genres such as AFK Arena, Art of Conquest, Soul Hunters, and Abi to SLG genres. (Of course, the name of Rise of Kingdoms: Lost Crusade is currently being used for the title Rise of Kingdoms: Lost Crusade for copyright reasons.
Rise of Kingdoms. As the name suggests, this game is about building your own kingdom. When you start the game, you have to decide your starting country like a civilization. And I have to develop my kingdom from the Stone Age.
TapTap
A total of 11 countries can be selected. Each country has its own characteristics and pros and cons, so choose carefully. At first, most of the building is made of straw, but as it is upgraded, it changes to a design specific to each country. In addition, depending on the country selected at the start of the game, you can receive a hero who decorated a scene in that country's history.
The quality of Rise of Kingdoms is excellent. From the beginning of the game, you will be greeted by a colorful war scene implemented in 3D animation. When you enter the game, you will be greeted by a guide NPC who speaks proper Korean and the voice actor reads every sentence. The buildings are not flashy, but the neat and cute appearance is like a miniature. The quality of the translation is also excellent.
In fact, localizing is a task that must be performed with the highest quality that can be naturally achieved when exporting games abroad. It's a basic courtesy to the country you're selling to. However, recently, games that do not follow even the most basic are overflowing, so the neatness of Rise of Kingdoms is unintentionally more prominent.
The biggest attraction of ROK games is that they are Free-to-Play Friendly. A game that seems to combine COC and civilization is a game that deserves the attention of many users.
TapTap
Plus, most mobile games put a lot of effort into making money. People want to gain an advantage over other players simply by spending their money. Yes, there is money to beat players in Korea, but the kingdom's ecosystem makes that problem easy.
Basically, paid players need free players, free players need paid players. Rise of Kingdoms is a team game where alliances and kingdoms work together to destroy enemy kingdoms or alliances. Therefore, even if FtoP is played, there is no major problem in game play, and it is a game with excellent balance.

• Warpath ⎮ @MicroProse
● Warpath is an RTS game made by Lilith Games, who also made the Rise of Kingdom.
● It becomes frustrating when you have to face off against pay to win fighters. Warpath is a cash grab.
● Historically accurate WW2 units.
Lilith Games do like developing RTSs, After Rising of Kingdoms and AFK Arena, Warpath comes to us. I haven't been particularly fond of mobile command & conquer games, because they are always being cash grabs and some of them reached beyond reason level. Warpath is no exception, it becomes frustrating when you have to face off against pay to win fighters. If you’re not in the scope of the rich, I suggest you be more cautious of playing those kinds of games. If you’re one of the rich, here are some game features you might want to know.
TapTap
Warpath takes place in an alternate 1941 when WW2 was going on. Apart from the antagonists are not Nazis anymore but a group of guys is known as Raven. The units of Warpath are historically accurate, ranging from infantry and armor to artillery and aircraft. And one of the features is we have maximum control over our unit like traditional RTS in Warpath. If I put aside my prejudice against pay to win, It will be fun to make an alliance with friends and fight with other players. From diplomacy to countless.
TapTap
TapTap
Of course, if you've played the Rise of Kingdom, you would know war always costs a lot of resources(The money in your pocket). Although you still can keep alive when you are free to play, you won’t truly get involved in the core conquest process. .campaigns, and finally conquering the world, the game just stimulates what most countries would do on the international stage.
