Grand Criminal Online is a gangster style open world game very similar to GTA. I can create my own identity in the game and explore the city. The game is extremely liberating. I can not only drive around, but also join the gangsters to fight, and even drive yachts and tanks.
Popular online sandbox mode with PvP and PvE missions is amazing. There are countless ways to make a living with different jobs and a wide variety of clothing and character customization. Dozens of types of modern and military vehicles are also available to enjoy. The game supports ultra-quality graphics and 60 fps.
I must say the game has two cons. Sometimes the game crashes for no reason and I believe the issue is not caused by my device. The fighting action of the characters is too stiff, just like the robots.

Gameloft's Gangstar series has long competed with numerous ports of Grand Theft Auto on mobile. Unfortunately, the influence and quality of GTA has already secured a solid fan base of users around the world, and it has become synonymous with gangster-related games.
But Gangstar: New Orleans takes the franchise to the next level with an exciting open world game similar to GTA. Of course, there are still some issues, but it's a significant improvement over the previous one, providing the intrinsic fun of the Crime City Sandbox. Of course, since the game is free to play, it's definitely worth a try.
Just like in GTA, there are really many missions and content, from story missions that occur on the street, challenges with time limits, and items that can be collected in various missions. There are also noticeable improvements over previous franchise games. For example, Gangstar Vegas had many inconveniences about the drive function, but now provides content that allows you to reach your destination quickly through various means of transportation.
Graphically, it shows the best performance among all the mobile crime action games released over the past few years through the Havoc engine. However, it still lacks a lot compared to GTA. Also, there are no obvious improvements in detail.
As for the game mission, the main mission is enough to enjoy the story, and there are various missions. There are many missions suitable for action, such as driving and gunfight.
However, since there are many duplicated and repeated missions in the sub missions, you may feel bored because you have to perform the main mission and spend some time just wandering around the map or performing repeated missions.
Compared to Gangstar Vegas, it's a game that has definitely improved gameplay with better gunfights and a solid structure, so it's a game I would recommend to users who want a genre similar to GTA.

In short, it's an open-world sandbox game where you can explore freely in the city without following a mission line. In short, it's a GTA-like game on mobile, the overall quality is average.
Let's say a few good things about this game. The mission guide is great, it's straightforward and concise. There are no frustrating plots or boring missions that you need to complete. Most of the time, I earn credits or explore the whole city at my pace.
Then the bad things… I have to watch an ad every few minutes unless I pay to get rid of it. I don't really mind it, but when I'm doing a mission and concentrating on it, the ads come out, it's annoying.You'll find that this game has no plot, if you take on the missions you'll find that all they are is mini games like testing your driving skills, sending packages to the destination, very few are killing the objective.
Instead of saying it's a GTA-like game, I should call it a city driving game. I think I'm just looking to buy a nice car during the 30 minutes I play (weapons are much cheaper). There could be a lot of things improved, like the graphics and more gameplay.

I think the biggest problem with this game is that it doesn’t have a decent soundtrack or sound design. To me, these are really important parts of video gaming. But unfortunately, the game lacks both. Therefore, when playing this gang battle game, I can’t feel the excitement.
In addition, the voice acting is kinda off. I don’t know if it's because the narrator has a British accent (Cockney?) or it's because the performance is not on point. The experience is overall quite weird and not very immersive to me.
But if you leave these things aside, Payback 2 is an excellent adventure game to play on mobile if you are looking for something that has a GTA vibe.
It offers tons of content to play with: a story mode, different campaigns and challenges. The customized gameplay is cool (but you need to use coins to unlock some of the game modes).
The graphics is nice. Game control is not very smooth but okay.
I have to complain that the ads are annoying. Almost every time you finish one game you’ll need to watch an ad to continue.

I take a dim view of all these GTA-like games or rip-offs. Because none of those games left a good impression on me because they were crudely made. Gangs Town Story is one of the few relatively fine among them. The good side of the Gangs Town Story creates a nice city landscape, you can even see the graffiti on the street corner. Some scenes remind me of GTA San Andreas.
But other than that, the game did not arrive at Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas degree. The critical point is that the game story isn’t coherent. What makes GTA perfect? GTA always tells a good story and creates a grand open world. Does Gangs Town Story do the same great job? I guess not. It’s more like a mission simulator and keeps letting me go somewhere to kill someone or a group of street gangsters without a reason. So, If you like GTA, you can take this game into account, But want to play a real GTA on mobile phone, There is no such choice now.
