KPL Update: DYG Swept TES.A 3:1, RW Took Down LGD 3:2

There were three matches held yesterday in the third round of the 2022 KPL Spring Split. Shenzhen DYG swept Changsha TES.A 3:1, Ji’nan RW took down Hangzhou LGD 3:2, and Beijing WB defeated Chengdu AG 3:1.

In the series between DYG and TES.A, in game one, at three minutes, Yiran and Sumo from TES.A performed a gank on the top lane and killed the champion of DYG Xiangjun. At 15 minutes, DYG killed Tyrant and the champion of TES.A Sumo. At this point, the two sides were 5:5 for the Kills. At 18 minutes, DYG pressured the Turret at the base of TES.A and achieved a double kill. DYG soon secured victory in this round.

In round two, DYG showed weakness initially, but at 20 minutes, in a team fight, DYG Xiangjun achieved a double kill against TES.A, bringing the Kills to 5:6 for DYG and TES.A from 3:6. Afterward, DYG won this round.

TES.A bounced back in game three of the series. In round four, their defense was not strong enough. In the end, TES.A lost the series.

Between RW and LGD, RW easily won the first round within 20 minutes. They weren’t favored in the first half of the second round, but RW’s high damage on the champion Shen Mengxi helped them secure victory in the second round.

In the third game of the series, LGD made strong plays and won. In the fourth game, LGD also won. In the last game, RW Xiaosong decimated the revived champion of LGD in a decisive team fight and secured victory in the series.

In the series between Beijing WB defeated Chengdu AG, WB took the first game. AG bounced back in the second game by utilizing its strength in team fights. In the third round, WB won. WB also won in the fourth round and took the series.
