Listen. Someone is singing. Who is singing?

We disclosed a Party Player, the Mermaid Singer, as early as last August. I believe you were already deeply impressed by that lovely and fashionably dressed character. After over half a year of polishing, Mermaid Singer Seaya is officially introduced at the party to become the 16th Party Player!

But how did the deep-sea girl develop into this lovely and fashionably dressed one? Let’s find it out together!

Seaya from the Atlantis is born with a beautiful singing voice and passionate about performing on stage. However, people around her expect her to be a graceful and elegant princess, not some singer or dancer. In spite of all the opposition, she continues to hold on to her dream which is to meet the infinite challenge on the widest stage!

That’s how our Mermaid Singer Seaya came into being!

How was such an inspirational idol created? Actually, designers had many different ideas about Seaya, and we had discussed a lot about her appearance. We agreed that Mermaid Singer should, among all other things, look friendly and lovely, and like singing and dancing. So the first decision we made was to put little makeup on her and consider no cold expressions on her. At the early stage of designing her hairstyle, designers considered about short hair. But after some discussion, they decided to draw long curly hair which made Seaya look more friendly and lovely.

And about her clothes. Many water elements are used in designing her clothes. The overall theme is about the blue ocean.

That’s the Seaya we showed to you on TapTap last August. But later we realized the colors of herself and her clothes were all so close to each other that she looked dull, which was not a character we desired to have as a Party Player. So we made some alterations to Seaya’s hairstyle, hair color, and her clothes. Now we got the final version of Mermaid Singer Seaya!

With slim legs, and a nimble body, Seaya is designed to be a sleek and agile character. But we need her to move both powerfully and gracefully, and also as if she is dancing. That’s a very difficult mission to accomplish.

The water ripples beneath Seaya’s feet caused by Double Jump, the water splashing effects caused by dash attacks, the sound wave effects caused by Aerial Attacks, etc. We have spent almost a year completing a beautiful mermaid with all those effects.

And don’t be fooled by her fashionable dress and slim body. She is actually a foodie. She often orders many different kinds of food to share with others at parties! That way she can have a taste of each one. Don’t you love this beautiful singer who wants to keep in shape and enjoy delicious food? She would secretly send little gifts to her fans. Maybe you will be the next lucky guy!

Now Mermaid Singer Seaya is on the stage of Party. What a journey would this sweet girl have? Let’s wait and see.
