(Edit: It's playable now. They've released an update in the same day that fixed all audio related issues.)
Terrible. The audio is awful, it's like there's two music playing in the background and they don't fit. This music is played in some cutscenes and battles, but in others isn't. The fighting sounds are almost non-existent, so or you fight in a rave with a deafening music, or you fight in a near absolute silence. You can't even hear the voices of the characters fighting. You can see they are talking, but no voice comes out. Also, why they never let us choose the language before we start the game? There's only two audio options and four languages for the captions and other texts, but it simply started with both in English. The auto dialogue sometimes takes too much time to skip and other times it's too fast, and in the final cutscenes of the prologue, there was two characters talking at the same time because of it. Also, I don't see any options to rewatch some dialogue scenes. You can rewatch some cutscenes by replaying the level, but others seem to be lost forever. The gameplay is ok, but the audio problem prevented me to concentrate in the instructions. The story may be interesting, but, again, the audio ruined everything.

Our current CBT2 aims to test out optimization and newly added gameplays for future development. We are aware that a lot of game content are lack of depth at this moment, but we do appreciate your honest feedback, it's really helpful! We will continue to work hard to make Torchlight better! :D
