WRL: FPX Beat JT 4:3 in the Third Match of the Semifinals, Entering the Finals

In yesterday’s WRL Playoffs, FPX swept JT 4:0 in Round One of their best-of-three series. In the first round, JT’s Galio killed FPX’s Senna in the beginning, building an edge for them. But at 29 minutes, FPX used the Baron buff to successfully destroy the base of JT with the minions on the mid lane.                     FPX Xiaoma earned the MVP Award for round one. In round two, in a team fight near the Dragon’s pit, FPX’s Renekton achieved a double kill. At 13 minutes, FPX continued to show stronger play, as they aced JT and secured victory in this round.

Weilin Li In the Finals for WRL 1 held yesterday, the top seed FPX defeated JDG in a competitive 4:1 series. In detail, in game one of the series, JDG’s Garen killed FPX’s Sett at five minutes. Eleven minutes later, at the top lane, FPX aced JDG and secured victory in this game. In game two of the series, at four minutes, three champions from JDG achieved a turret dive kill. Four minutes later, JDG killed a Dragon and FPX’s Ziggs. Then, 20 minutes in, JDG used the Baron buff to destroy the nexus of FPX.

Three matches were held in yesterday’s WRL Spring Split Stage Two, where NV beat OMG 2:0, FPX beat JT 2:0, and JDG took down WBG 2:0. In the series of games between NV and OMG, OMG achieved a gank on the top lane at the beginning of round one, when OMG’s Darius killed NV’s Akali. But at 17 minutes, NV killed a Dragon and aced OMG, securing victory in this round. In round two, Long and Guoguo from NV cooperated with each other well and killed OMG’s Lee Sin. At 20 minutes, NV’s Senna killed OMG’s Lee Sin, and NV led the minions to destroy the nexus of OMG. NV won this series.
