What is Deactivation on Twitter?

Twitter stops sending new Tweets, posts, and replies to followers, which means you won’t be able to interact with anyone on the platform anymore. Deactivating an account means that it’s gone forever. It can’t be reactivated unless you deactivate it again and wait some more time before creating a new account. At any point in time, you can deactivate your account by logging into your account settings, going to Account -> Deactivate Account. Twitter won’t deactivate your account without your consent. They don’t want to do it, and they don’t have to do it. You can choose to leave Twitter whenever you want to.
