【G-STAR 2019】“Project Arena” is a battle royale where up to 15 people battle in MOBA 3D action

During the G-Star 2019, as one of the game exhibitors, NGEL GAMES brings some new titles for everyone including “Project Pendion”, “Project RTD”, “Project Arena”. The new game “Project Arena” was will be introduced in this post and it is a versus RPG that will launch on both PCs and smartphones.

This game is the second title of the NGEL GAMES's three major project titles following "Project RTD", and the main feature is "versus" as you can imagine from the title name "arena". And if you express the game contents roughly, it will be “up to 15 players battle royale with MOBA 3D action”.

There will be no character training feature in the “Project Arena”. This means that there is no parameter difference. In addition, each tactic is divided according to the selected character.

When a game that can match up to 15 players (AI battle in the demo) was started, the character appeared on the battlefield.

The walking speed is not fast but it is not that slow, but it is the same as MOBA, intuitive avoidance action is a feature.

Enemy monster attacks are mainly long-distance attacks like shooting games, so the above-mentioned avoidance is a dodging skill that player should practice. The normal attack can be switched between the long-range shooting and the short-range combo attack automatically according to the combat distance, so it seems that it is not necessary to play just by pressing the attack button.

Defeat enemies, control an area, and level up the character to acquire new skills and items (these could be random). This will change the play style depending on how you grow. The player who has survived lastly to the end will become the winner.

From the perspective view, “Project Arena” is interesting. Although it is absolutely no to say that all of the “games that can be expected with the fun of imagination” have taken the path of success, the gameplay design method will be the success point of this game.
