So i wanted to give an in depth review because this game has potential. It got me hooked from the start. You drop in on a planet where alot of people start and youll see all their drop pods everywhere. They are from real players. The game then starts to teach you how to do things.
Let me tell you ive only played about 3 hours and i can tell this game has a ton of content. Considering ive been playing 3 hours straight and im only level 5 and cant even use a gun yet. Its clearly a very slow progression. Mining and exploring seem to be very fun.
This game has a ton of things to do. You could make a farm and grow tons of crops. Or go hunt different creatures which there are a bunch of. You can even craft vehicles. And its very in depth as in you choose where the engine goes where the seats go, windshield, lights, ect.
Seems like the planets are gonna be huge. I was running around and looked at the map and was shocked.
base building is very satisfying. You can even add a toilet and POOP. I feel like this game is a mix of survival, sims, and rpg.
you can run into other players as well. I dont think you can hurt each other unless thats just because im on the 1st planet.
The issues so far is that it is in very early access still so it is clunky and needs to be optimized for sure. Servers sometimes kick you out. There is plenty of bugs as well. But for wthe content this game is giving you its worth it.
If they clean the game up and make it fluid this will be a huge title for sure. Id compare it to pc games that are in depth survival.
P.S. the game does explain missions or tasks very well so be prepared to be confused on certain things. But i took the time to figure it out.
Well its clear that you only played just 3 hours. 1. The game isnt that depth it just a bunch of items and recipes, but there isnt a real use for each item, its just like ornaments. Like the toilet: you can build it, but you CAN'T use it. 2. The building system is expensive and the resources are a nightmare to collect. - It is repetitive and ugly. 3.I doubt the vehicle creation its a good idea, it could be better and optimized with pre established models you can unlock with blueprints. The same for the buildings. 4. The world is big but there's so empty, not much to do... also theres just 3 worlds where all you can do is just walk, build, gather resources, fight dumb enemies, go back home, REPEAT. 5. The weapon system is unbalanced and bored like the armors, just adds some stats but doesnt have a 3d model. 6. The worst of all the game is, the idle while you are building, looks so odd and almost depressing. its annoying.

After seeing your review, I'm definitely gonna play the game today! I'm a Durango: Wildland (mobile) player & it seems this game is somewhat close!
