The game is heavy pay to win. No balance whatsoever for competitiveness between spenders and free to play players.
Gameplay is really good and everything is enjoyable, could have been the saving grace of D3. The chance for blizzard to make the Diablo franchise into an MMO game. Everybody expects that it would have monetization, which was accepted by the players as blizzard said the monetization won't be about power. However, played the game since launched, power heavily relies on spending.
If you are to only play casually, like something to beat the time while you are not doing anything, then you won't be hindered by monetization. But if you wanna play competitively, make sure that you are ready to spend some big bucks. If blizzard make a few tweaks with the monetization, this has the potential to be the biggest game in mobile for years to come.
