The Trophy for The Wild Rift Icons Global Championship Was Officially Unveiled

Weilin Li Two matches were held yesterday in the 2022 Icons Global Championship, where FPX defeated FW 2:0 and JT took down TQ 2:0, earning both teams their first victories in the Group Stage. In game one of the match between FPX and FW, initially, in a team fight, FPX’s Monkey King killed FX’s Akali, and FPX’s Corki killed FW’s Jax. At 16 minutes, FPX aced FW on the mid lane. Soon after this, FPX led the minions to destroy FW’s base.

The league for League of Legends: Wild Rift (WRL) will debut at 17:00 on March 19th. Right now, a total of 12 teams are slated for the upcoming competitions. On the first day, FPX will be in a matchup with TT, while JT competes against KBG and EDG competes against RNG. The other six participants are JDG, NV, OC, OMG, WBG and WHG.  For the competition system, the first stage of the Split will start on March 19th and end on April 10th. All matches are played in Bo3. The top six teams will enter the Challenger Group, and the bottom six teams will enter the Breakout Group.

Weilin Li In the Play-in matches held yesterday in the 2022 Icons Global Championship, NV decimated FW 2:0, JDG took down RRQ 2:1, and JT won against T1 2:0. Between NV and FW, in game one of the match, NV’s Camille launched an ultimate and killed FW’s Yuumi, the First Blood. At 12 minutes, NV aced FW at the top lane, securing victory in this round. In game two, at 14 minutes, the two sides were competing for Baron, triggering a team fight. Then, NV aced FW and destroyed FW’s base.
