I like the simplicity of the game play. There's constant influx of task but there's no burden to finish it within a time limit which is relaxing . Control is already smooth. It's perfect game to enjoy when you want to escape from busy life.
Things that can be improve for real game later, 1) make the inside of the house accessible with room function etc. Right now it only can serve as a storage. Why... Why decorate with all this lighting and plants and after finish, only serve as storage. I hope later the inside of the house can be crafted and design too.
2) Variety of background music (if possible, changeable to player's preference or for special occasions, like crafting axe, building house, or when we interact with merchant). I see that it's an improvement from previously no-sound. But one BGM that don't have a lot of notes replays in infinite loop is honestly boring and soon becomes a headache.
3) Traveling to other island for variety of special purpose,
4) More interactive activities with environment (there's a pond and sea, so maybe there will later be fishing task),
5) For social purpose, maybe travel to other player's island or make a special big Island where there is amusement park, entertainment purpose, etc where player can gather and you can also hold a special event . But if this happen, please don't be too heavy on social task because there's also many player who enjoy solo gaming better (like me LOL).
Good work, developer :). Crafting and Building as the title of the game said is good. However it will be more fulfilling if we can enjoy what we have crafted. Give a meaning to what player has worked so hard for.
