Dear Commanders,
Hello everyone! Today we present to you Nadilus - Thunder Rage, the third SSS hero. During the release, you could have noticed that Nadilus is exceptionally good at dealing multiple instances of damage, has a great critical hit chance, and can bring great damage output to a team. But what do you need to unlock his full potential? You will find out all the information after reading this guide!
Nadilus - Thunder Rage
Hero Faction: Atlas
Hero Specialty: Multi-Stage DMG
Hero Rarity: Elite
Exclusive Equipment: Lightning Beast
Hero Skills Information:
Energy Skill - Destructive Thunderbolt: Summons 2 rounds of Thunders of Destruction to strike the target violently. The 1st round will strike the target 4 times, dealing 88% ATK DMG each; the 2nd round will strike the target 4 times, dealing 75% ATK DMG each.
Talent Effect: Nadilus will cast his third Thunder Strike, dealing 200% attack damage. If the first or second Thunder Strike killed the target, then the third Thunder Strike will be cast to the enemy with the lowest HP on the battlefield.
Basic Skill - Rage Core: Nadirius unleashes his rage, increasing his and his teammates' critical hit rate by 15% for 6 seconds.
Talent Effect: If there's no ally on the same row, or the ally on the same row has been killed, doubles the Crit Rating.
Basic Skill - Energy Storm: When the ball hits the target, it explodes 6 times in a short period of time, dealing 40% damage for the first time and 10% damage for each next blast.
Talent Effect: The 6th explosion must be critical damage, and the damage is increased by 25%.
Passive - Atlas Bloodline: Every time an Ultimate Spell is cast or CRIT DMG occurs, increases the caster's ATK by 20% for 4 secs.
Talent Effect: Increase critical rate by 5%.
[Development Strategy]
Skill Review: Destructive Thunderbolt is a highly devastating skill that deals multiple rounds of damage to individual enemies, up to 9 instances of damage to a single enemy. This ability will be particularly useful in the Deesa Caves Boss. Rage Core significantly increases the crit chance of Nadilus and his teammates. Energy Storm is also a high damage ability that deals 6 ticks of damage. Atlas Bloodline is a passive skill that increases Nadilus’ attack power after use of his Ultimate or after a critical strike. After briefly reviewing the skills, we can see that it is best to pursue crit rate and crit damage attributes first, which can improve Nadilus’ output ability.
Exclusive Equipment: Unlocks after Hero reaches MYTHIC 1 Star. This exclusive equipment has two effects. The first effect increases your critical hit damage and increases your output after a critical hit. The second effect increases your crit rate according to the ratio of hit points lost by enemies, greatly increasing your ability to kill low hit points heroes.
Talent: The "Destructive Thunderbolt" talent deals an additional thunderstrike with true damage, and can strike up to two enemies in a sequence, no longer causing subsequent damage loss if an enemy dies in the process. Once Rage Core is unlocked, the array selection will be more flexible to the change in crit rate. When Nadilus is the strongest on the team, you can choose to place him alone in the back to maximize his output.
[Mixing&Matching]
Equipment: When choosing the best attributes for a single item for Nadilus, you should focus on attributes that influence his damage output, such as damage, bonus damage, crit rate, and crit damage. When choosing an equipment set, it is recommended to choose the crit damage set first. If the crit damage is not high enough, you can consider two sets of crit damage instead.
Commanders: When choosing the commander, go for "Brynhild", who can greatly enhance heroes with multiple damage types. This commander also has an ability that will trigger additional damage when you hit the same target 3 times. For Nadilus, the commander effect can be triggered by both the Energy and regular Energy Storm abilities, and the same ability can be triggered multiple times.
Divine Prototype: Energy-type Heroes get bonuses from Dominator's Divine Prototypes. Because Nadilus is a multi-damage Energy Hero, we should choose the parts that can improve the output of the Divine Prototype. For example, for the blue quality you can choose "Bladefury". For purple quality you can choose “Soaring Medallion”. For orange quality you can go with "Redthorn Rune", "Preying Eyes" or "Dark Summit".
[Combat Strategy]
Placement: Nadilus is a long range damage dealing hero, it is best to place him in the back row of your squad.
Combinations with other heroes: Nadilus is typically used as the team’s main damage dealer. In order to satisfy the trigger condition of commander "Brynhild", and to add some additional damage dealing characters, you should pick other multi-damage heroes. The suitable candidates would be Heroes like Taylor - Darkwood Rogue, Sorietta - Star Dragon, Bot Mark II - Spider Artillery, etc. Nadilus can also be used as a secondary damage dealer, providing a crit rate buff for the main DPS while finishing the wounded enemy heroes, giving the main DPS hero new targets, and not wasting any multi-strike damage.
