A Chinese studio called AAA Studio announced that they will adapt the Wuxia novel series into a martial arts game called Code: To Jin Yong. I want to put this as an important article because of The most Epic, Famous, Marvellous works. That Beyond... your Imagination.
The demo trailer showcases stylish combat that incorporates a lot of the mind-blowing mid-air moves that are the hallmark of Wuxia, but replicated gracefully into game form.
Official Trailer:
In most action games, when the character wants to dodge and block an attack it's usually with both hands but feet down. Meanwhile, Code: To Jin Yong allows you to jump a high distance to avoid incoming attacks.
The game was developed by Lightspeed Studios, which is owned by Tencent which previously worked for mobile games like Apex Legends and PUBG. Code: To Jin Yong is planned to be developed on Unreal Engine 5, which Tencent believes will allow developers to embody fantastic martial arts moves to life.
The environment in the fight looks very responsive, like the leaves that move according to the character's attack. As well as a camera that is quite dynamic but still not excessive in its movement. Very Smooth..
Tencent has not officially announced a release date, and whether the game is only available on mobile devices. So there's still plenty of time to wait until we can play the first wuxia game developed on Unreal Engine 5. Keep it updated. Thank you. 👍
