It's surprising me because the gameplay is pretty similar with Another Eden. I heard about OCTOPATH is ported game, so maybe Another Eden which had inspired from OCTOPATH?
Yes as I said, if you ever playing Another Eden, you'll not gonna confused with the gameplay.
The storylines are fine, I choose to be in Fame tale as my starter story. I thought it will be a fun-comedy tale, but it turns out to be a chaotic tale, this is so good to follow.
Every other side tales also really good to read.
What makes the game more interesting than Another Eden is the mechanism of battle:
The battle doesn't have auto battle, it only have 2x speed. Strategy plays a little role here, because we have to find out the weak points of each enemies to get high damage, or else our character dmg will less than normal.
Gacha!! The rate doesn't really that bad tho, but still need some luck to got 5 stars characters 😂😤. But doesn't matter, as long as we have good equipments. Using 3 or 4 stars charas will be alright.
What makes me reduced 1 star is because everytime my screen move to another interface, the screen will dim (loading) for 3 seconds.
About region lock, yess my country (Indonesia) got locked from the game, to solve this one I use VPN only when I enter the game, when I'm already inside the game I will turn off the VPN and go back to using wifi. Pretty simple. So don't put this cool game with your 1 star just because of this issue. 🙃
(oh LOL it's turned out I don't need any vpn anymore to play this game LMAO)

Good Mobile RPG
Tips to play for those having issues with region lock. Use VPN with US server then download everything in game. After getting full control of your character you can now exit the game and play Octopath without VPN, you just need to get passed the title screen and tutorials.
For the game its loading so slow from title screen to recieving achievements and mails. But other than that another solid RPG to play on your mobile with console like performance/quality and by the way this game plays like another eden.

No, Another Eden was inspired by old RPGs from the 90s, just like Octopath Traveler. AE was also made by the creator of Chrono Trigger, who said that AE was an inspiration from Chrono Trigger. Another Eden was released in 2017 Octopath Traveler was released in 2018

Author likedI think you need to do some research and try to look up for Chrono Trigger (1995). Another Eden is technically a successor of that gem. Secondly, have you ever play Octopath PC/Console version? It's totally different from this since it's a classic linear RPG, with branching stories, not a gacha RPG. The skill, the job system, the plot branches, are all differs from the mobile version.
