@User filan nominated Sheep Dreams Are Made of This as one mobile gaming hidden gem during the TapTap Explorer Campaign. And this game immediately caught my attention because it reminded me of Eurythmics's big hit Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This) and the sci-fi fiction Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, which later inspired the film Blade Runner - and I love them both.
So, is this game good, despite its catchy title?
Sheep Dreams Are Made of This is platformer where you control a man who has been stuck in a nightmare for 17 years. You need to help him collect the memory fragments to get his memory back, and you need to do this within eight hours, or the man will wake up and everything will reset.
And FYI, that are eight hours in real life.
I haven't finished the game. Honestly, I don't think I will, because it's virtually impossible for me to just sit down for eight hours and collect all the memory piece. However, it's still a game that worth your attention.
Sheep Dreams Are Made of This stands out for its concept. It's really clever to mix an endless runner type of game with the theme of reoccurring nightmares, past traumas and self-reflection. Playing this game feels like reading someone's diary, which is a really personal experience that can be depressing, sometimes.

Sheep Dreams are Made of This is a really creepy platformer where you play as a guy who has had the same nightmare for 17 years in a row. The premise of the game is that you must collect all of the boxes to escape said nightmare where you are a creepy looking sheep.
Overall the gameplay was pretty good, but extremely punishing when you don't jump at the exact second, pushing you to try and remember how to get back to the same spot you just were.

What will happen when a sheep suffers insomnia?
The gameplay is quite unique and attractive, just played about 1 hours but can't wait to leave a message here. It's a side scrolling running game but not a typical one, i will sort it as a puzzle game specifically. But the reason this game didn't win 5 stars from me is that it's really very hard to control the sheep for me. I will keep playing this game to dig the storyline. Cool game, love it

Sleep can mean a lot of different things to different people. It can be an escape from reality; a chance to finally relax after another stressful day; a time of meditation and taking stock of events in your life. And for some, as in the case of Sheep Dreams Are Made of This, sleep can be a trap—a never-ending nightmare where they’re forced to relive their every mistake.
For my own part, I’ve never had a great relationship with sleep. My colleagues who see me up and working at all hours will confirm that. This last week was particularly bad, though. Between a mix of challenging work deadlines, nonstop anxiety, and the insomnia issues I’ve suffered from since I was a teenager, I don’t think I got more than twenty hours of shut-eye across the whole week.

The graphics look cool. But does it really require you to play for 8 straight hours to finish?

Just collect all the fragments within the time limit and you'll be fine. But I think it's kinda challenging to achieve that because the controls are not that smooth.
