Touhou Arcadia Record "Gacha Game" Review
1K View2022-08-06Firstly to start off, I personally don't like gacha games, especially comes to Touhou series.
However, unlike Touhou Lost Word(another Touhou mobile Gacha Game), Arcadia Record still did some challenging danmaku (bullet hell) stages for a mobile version of Touhou, which me as a touhou fan think personally think is great to have the original gamestyle of dodging the danmaku.
For graphic is decent, not the best but at the same time it's pretty good for a Touhou mobile games. As for the soundtrack of the games, it's definitely the best selling point of this game where it include some the most popular Touhou soundtrack that you can find.
For gameplay, other than 5 special stage (where you dodge like real Touhou) the normal stage are just mediacore difficulty, even the bosses are easy to beat. The difficulty might depends on individual's situation. If you never played danmaku before you might find this game quite challenging. However, if you're a veteran in danmaku games, this will definitely be so much easier, there's even no need to do Gachas that much to get the LEGENDARY characters to beat the game stage if you dedicated yourself to dodge the danmaku.
Overall, a very nice art and god tier soundtracks for a mobile Touhou gacha game. But for gameplay is quite decent(danmaku patterns not creative enough and some the boss pattern were used repeatedly, which you might get bored after finishing a few more stage) and - 1 for the Gacha part.

Great game just needs to dodge every bullet
A game like a Touhou project, is great and the adrenaline rush is making you play this game more especially if you have a lot of upgrades in your arsenal. The gameplay is smooth even on a potato phone. The graphics are great too. UI is easy to access and responsive enough to dodge at a second notice. Definitely worth the time to play, especially when you are on break from work and have nothing to do. Would recommend playing!

This is actually a very enjoyable game!
i honestly enjoying this game so much, imagine touhou as a rhythm game you got this.
basically idols + touhou + rhythm games = kono warui koneko!
they give you 6 preset girl with different personalities that you customize as much as you want. (except body proportions and skin)
there alot of styles from sexy to super cutsy. they got it all.
the stats are based of the outfits you wears which you only get thru gacha. yes, you can upgrade them, i only seen character can be asended/limit broken.

This game is very good though it's in japanese only, there's no subtitles too. I can't say much about the game story since I don't understand it, but the gameplay is something that catches me, the songs are good as well as the visual, it's like touhou but mixed to music games. Highly recommend

but you know that without legendaries characters, you wont have enough power to defeat boss before they use their spellcard which is impossible to dodge

Sorry I was meant to say 'limited' legendary. Normal legendary in this game can be obtained easily compared to limited one. (didn't have notification on this hmm.)
