The difference in visual quality and style of the characters between the 2d and 3d models is too jarring. 2d looks amazing and 3d is just meh. Also the proportions of head size vs upper and lower body is slighlty off with the 3d and some of the 2d characters.

3D characters don't blend in well in pixel even tho they are pixelated. The gameplay is pretty sloppy, with weird "mario hitting brick" mechanic along with bad sound effects. I hate listening to the sound when character dies. It's annoying. The controls also feel sloppy, especially jump as I can hardly jump across a tall obstacles. But I can't give this game 1 star because I doubt I could even make the game like that. Overall, pretty decent game for an indie dev
