Grimlight Review!

Great aesthetics, middling gameplay. The story is unlikely to grab you, and the battles probably won't either.
However, the art is excellent, the UI is smooth, the music is above average, and if you're the type that derives enjoyment out of building up your team, you'll have a good time.
The stamina rate is much better than it was. Assuming you make use of the (somewhat threadbare) Adventurer's Guild room, the shop (which features a number of keys tradeable with easily-farmed gold), and hitting your daily/weekly quest target rewards, you won't run out of keys on a f2p account even after playing for several hours a day.
The gacha system is far more unfriendly. Let's say you want a featured 5-star character. You have (I believe) a 1.5% chance of hitting it per single pull, with 100 pulls needed before the pity system kicks in and guarantees your next pull to be that character. It requires 1500 gems per 10-pull. It'll take more than a week to farm that amount, so be prepared to have to save for months or to spend $20-25 or  to get your hands on that character.

[Note : The game is presumably dead already receiving no update on gacha banner changes for over a week] This is by far the most F2P  SRPG / Tactical RPG with the best gacha drop rates you will ever find in any app store. Twilight Night itself is very similar to Kalpa of Universe's in-game mechanics. However, the actual gameplay or combat system is similar to Turn Based RPGs with unit turn gauge elements. As a new user, you are rewarded a free SSR out of 3 in one banner (1 mage and 2 physical / melee) as well as another free SSR (support) on 7th day and another free SSR (mage) from 14 day new player missions. You will be bombarded with free gem currency (required for gacha & other shop items) and gacha tickets as you progress throughout the game, so you will never run short of those enabling you to get any hero of your choice in short considering the gacha drop rate of 3% is accurately good with pity system of 70 pulls to guarantee a SSR. As someone who haven't paid a cent in the game, I already own all of the SSR heroes so far. It won't take much time either for you to acquire hero pieces and upgrade them to a better grade. The art style of the game is appealing with skill CGs on every character's ultimate abilities. The in-game music is also decent to your ears. The only issues in the game is the shortage of free stamina giveaway and not-so-interesting storyline. Aside from these, the game has lots of potential to be even better in future. I hope this underrated gem RPG gets a lot of attention from SRPG lovers in near future. I recommend everyone to give this game a go as well ~ 🍹

I am playing this game for a long time. Even it's a idle gacha rpg it's still very f2p friendly then most of games out there. Gacha is also very generous and game progression offers enough resources to level up/ascend characters.I am a f2p player and i have cleared almost 90-95% of the game content and have obtained all characters and ascended(minimum ascension required to unlocking all skills further ascension only increase combat power) 60-75% of characters.

Very decent game
(scroll to the end for TLDR) One of my favorite casual friendly gacha game with a good pity system. As someone who played Arknights first, thought it would be a shitty version of that game… but currently I’m enjoying it as much as Arknights. (P.s. I also thought Arknights would be a shitty version of Bloons td so yeah…) Character design, art, and animation (L2D) are outstanding. Story is also really good. It’s casual in a sense that there aren’t any real competition so you can play it at your own pace. And you won’t even be spending much time doing dailies cause there’s quick clear for almost everything so it will take like 10 to 15 minutes if not less. Rarity of characters don’t even matter. I can guarantee you that in some game modes/stages, there will be specific free low rarity characters you will absolutely need as they will out perform many high rarity characters. And as far as buying in game currency goes, you’ll get a LOT of it for free (you get 40 from dailies, 48 from an auto generator thing and 150 from weekly, and bunch more from events and so on. It takes only 1800 for 10 summon….). The only one you won’t get for free is for buying skins and that can also be converted into summoning currency even though that’s completely stupid to do (Imo).
