A recent update to Minecraft! Tweaks to Steve and Alex's skins!

In September 2009, the Minecraft Classic 0.24 Survival Beta removed Steve's beard, and the default skin has not been modified since then.In this skin update, Steve finally has a beard again after many years. In addition to this, the textures are enriched all over the body, making him look stronger.

Alex didn't make any major changes, just enriched some details to make the characters more three-dimensional.

Note that the new default skin is still being tested, and you can download the beta version of the official launcher to experience it. Mojang is still optimizing, not the final result.
