Recently a friend of mine has mentioned they picked up NFS Underground to relive the nostalgia, and I got inspired to pick a racing game as well.I started with Asphalt, which felt too... Grindy for me... It is like you can't progress in the story unless you grind hard to unlock upgrades and other cars with no way around winning without spending a lot of time.
I vaguely remember that I bought a copy of NFSMW on android back when it was discounted but the search showed me that I had to rebuy it... I looked through the statements and found the one where I bought the game and suddenly I managed to install it. Weird.
But after that, the game felt great, it has some technique that a player needs to master before progressing, but it is not impossible or limited by your "car grade"... Of course there are multiple cars where you have to upgrade to as the story progresses, but it isn't like they are impossibly expensive or impossible to buy, and I managed to beat the entire game on gold without spending anything on micro transactions. And it didn't take that much to beat.
It is in every way I felt the game superior to Asphalt, and it has reminded me that actually paid games are better than freemium ones.
If you're looking for a racing game, I highly recommend NFSMW. I don't know how frequently it goes on sale, but it is absolutely worth it in my opinion.
The gameplay is nice, the UI is a bit outdated imo, especially the placement of the speedometer, the cars are really cool, and I managed to beat the game without the need for any microtransactions!!Totally worth it for me

I don't like NSFMW mobile, it feels annoying on how there are few races to choose, no most wanted 1v1 like it's console version, nor even it having a dual lap, like Asphalt Nitro and It's again... Console version... That's why I never bought the game because of that
