Ups and downs but never a dull moment. Just as it should be. This is my first time really falling for a tactical srpg roguelike. I think it's due to the way passives and gear drastically evolve your playstyle as you go. The punishing combat and precious health element is definitely a plus!! Definitely worth trying if you're even a liiiiittle interested in the genre!!

Unfortunately, that's the only positive portion of the game, the gameplay. This is a re-release of the original game, which came out in 2020. It lost traction and they eventually gave up on the game; this is their attempt to bring it back, but from what I could tell, it wasn't all that great right now due to all of the issues with the visual performance of the UI and many other factors that slowed down gameplay and made it feel like a completely different game all together. It's fun but fades over time.
