Memoir III

This was the last time I saw her, just like the distance perception the first time I saw her. She seemed to see me and did not care that I kept staring at her. We did not say a word until she walked down from above. I knew she was sad, but I was as helpless as a waste.

It was a bad day and seemed like the smoke from the factory chimney was covering up the sky which should have been cloudless. She didn't look back at me just said softly " There's been a leak at the BLN lab, and these are probably the last batch of subjects we'll be able to observe." She looked even more serious than usual. I didn't ask further questions carefully, but my mind ran completely. "Today is my 3rd year working with her".

That day was the first time I walked into her research room. I have been here for so long and I always want to get to know her, but every time I was always scared back by her serious face, I was afraid of disturbing her and afraid that she thought that I was very unprofessional. This time I had a good chance and I must grasp it!
