Unlike Vampire Survivors and its many copycats, 20 Minutes Till Dawn concentrated on skill trees and managing upgrade paths. In contrast to other games in this genre, this is not an automatic function. You still have to hold down the trigger and aim. This game is much faster paced, no more than 20 minutes a round at most.
20 Minutes Till Dawn allows you to choose from a wide variety of characters and weapons, and the way these characters are paired with different weapons creates many unique fighting styles for the game. Each character also uses their own talent abilities.
This game is fun, challenging, and has a lot of things to unlock. At least for a while it will be enjoyable and you will be able to keep trying new styles of combat. Also there is strategy in how you choose to upgrade your skills.
Of course, there are also similarities with other games. For example, the number of enemies will slowly and gradually increase over time. Meanwhile, mini-bosses and big bosses will appear after each period of time. Defeating these powerful monsters will drop a chest, which you can use to further enhance your abilities.
The game always has a choice of difficulty, but only increasingly difficult choices. You don't want to get an easy victory. When you first try this game, you might think the difficulty is too high. But believe me, once you get familiar with the rhythm, you will definitely love this game.
