Been playing gacha games for 4-5 years now and by far,PGR is the only gacha that I've been playing with the same enthusiasm as day 1 for 2 years (I used to played on CN server) alongside FGO.

A skill-based game heavily inspired from Nier,DMC and Soulsborne genre where they put the first priority on your SKILLS.They always test your skills first and then how much investment you have made.

NOTE: PGR had collab with Nier Automata and 2B,A2 and 9s are actually playable characters.

Another big thing..Pretty Female characters but not wearing skimpy clothing,male characters with an actually buff and ripped body model .

And if you like fan-service?Then they got you covered with that.Skins without any special effects are always FREE.

And the most noticable thing about PGR,is its addictive combat that still to this day is fresh due to the variety in each character's combat mechanic/core passive.The sound effects are top notch too.Also Parry mechanic for every character, Execution and Counter for Transcendants are just cherry on top.

About the story now.Its heavily nier-inspired right from the begining.And also really dark and gloomy. First few main chapters are generic I'm not gonna lie.But when it comes to the later chapters,the story writing becomes absolutely god-tier.Poetic and Philosophical story telling,a good ammount of focus on the main character even if they are self-insert,each of the playable characters having a good development,world-building and lore everything just becomes really good.You even feel for the non-playable characters at times.

Music: ABSOLUTE BANGERS.Every single one of them.Even if you don't give PGR a try,PLEASE give Vanguard Sound Studio a try.Vanguard Sound Studio and PGR is inseparable at this point.

Gacha: F2P FRIENDLY.A Lot.If you're a collector looking for husbandos or waifus then I think its safe to say that you can get every character.And if you're an F2P and occasional hardcore like me,then you might have to skip a character or two for the Meta.I may not have every single character but all my S ranks (highest tier) have their signature weapons.Meaning that even weapons are easy to get.And this is after I manage to give into my gacha addition and spending some currency without any reason.Imagine if you can be patient and do a better job at managing the gacha currency.

NOTE: If you're a whale who thinks Pgr's gonna become boring and easy because you'll end up having OP characters and builds then PGR's got you covered as well.Pain cage and Warzone can ve really competitive.And if you want some extra punishing,then Tower Of Babel and Norman Revival project exist.I swear these two modes can make you mald the heck out of yourself.

TLDR: PGR's the best Action-rpg game in the market currently with a smooth and engaging combat system which is complimented by its AWESOME soundtracks, both Female and Male characters being badass and pretty that have such designs that suits to PGS's dark and gloomy world perfectly,A dark,poetic and philosophical storyline, a real F2P friendly gacha.
