it doesn’t even have a game category here!

<Rez Infinite, Area X, Blue version>
Rez Infinite is a game that came out in 2019, although having it’s past games (Rez and Rez HD) come out way earlier. This game is a weird bullet hell music-filled game, having the player first play as the cube-y unnamed protagonist as they hack into the system to presumably save a female AI from the system (At least that’s what I think it is). Don’t get me wrong, I love this game but this story is damn crazy.
<Rez Infinite, Area 1 boss>
So how this game works is, you start out in Area 1 before you get into any other of the areas. Through the whole area, parts of a song ("Buggie Running Beeps") play. As you shoot the flying spacecraft-like objects, you can notice that they make sounds relating to the song in almost every area.
<Rez Infinite, Area 5 Eden Boss Rush>
Along with getting the experience of the normal Rez and Rez HD games, Rez Infinite gives you access to an experimental "Area X" mode. It’s way more advanced than the original Rez product. It’s more smooth, and you can use the free-fly which lets you go anywhere instead of a predetermined path.
Did I mention you can play it with VR?
<Rez Infinite Area X, Orange version>
Yes, it’s fully compatible with both PSVR and PCVR. I personally play it on the PlayStation ever since I was able to get it for free via PlayStation monthly games, but have also tried it on PSVR and it is awesome. You can also use your own head to move the cursor!
Should you buy it? Depends on if you have motion sickness or epilepsy and like these types of games. If you don’t have either of them and like the game, you should totally buy it when you can!
