DEVBLOG014 — Biweekly Progress
Hi guys! This is Project evo, I believe many of you guys have already watched our latest video (Beta Release Date). To answer the most frequently asked question( about the release date), we plan to ship the Beta version before Christmas.
We have finished the Inner Test, the participants have found a lot of previously unknown bugs. We also received many suggestions about core experience of raiding & counter & building. We would sort out those suggestions and have more discussions on how to proceed with adjustments. Thanks to all players who participated in the inner test! Okay, no more chit-chat, here is the latest progress:
Core gameplay
1️⃣ We optimized the behavior of Port Tackson's boss. We've tested many times and hopefully this is the final version. Check out the movements of the boss:
2️⃣ We added VFX of the turrets in Port Tackson. They are lethal, make sure you're equipped steel armor or higher before coming to loot.
3️⃣ The update of player movements is work in progress.
4️⃣ We added the Leaderboard system for players. Players will be able to see the ranking of different regions
5️⃣ The motorcycle and boats are finished. We will start to work on the armored vehicle.
Art
1️⃣ The new version of Port Tackson concept art is done. Check the difference and leave your comments.
2️⃣ We added a background for the lobby
Usability
1️⃣ We optimized the UI of the battle session. We've added a few icons on the top to notify players the status of their bases.
2️⃣ Other general UI update is work in progress.
Bug Fix & Optimization
1️⃣ We solved a problem caused by anti-cheat server verification. This problem will block players from walls and doors even though those building blocks have already been destroyed.
2️⃣ Fixed a bug of toxic words blocking.
3️⃣ Fixed a bug displaying a wrong limit of players' territories.
We are looking forward to having you guys in Beta. And we will deploy multiple servers globally to make most players have good network experiences. Leave comments below 🙂
i hope the developers put in much effort in player movements like strifing and adding different player manuevers like sliding or clinging, climbing ... with 3rd person game like this i find it lacking in that aspect.. why not incorporate movement like those in genshin, or ToF .. it would really spice the gameplay up.. just imagine....

i know,its like a Rust,but it would be nice anyway to have an option for pve server with no raiding,but a lot of pve content,solo and group ones,and some nice schemes to build a safe and styled buildings and so on.also without wipes.
